Breckenridge as a snowmobile base

Breckenridge offers the largest range of dining, nightlife, and shopping among Summit County towns — ideal if your trip includes non-riders who want plenty to do during your tour day. From Breckenridge to our staging area is about 30-35 minutes via Highway 9 and Highway 91. Traffic is reliably light because most ski-bound traffic moves north toward Frisco rather than south toward our staging.

Combining ski lifts and snowmobile tours

Breckenridge Ski Resort runs five lift-served peaks and has more terrain than most guests can cover in three days. Our snowmobile tours work well as a rest day on day three or four of a longer Breck trip. The format we recommend most often for Breck-based groups is a mid-morning departure on a daily tour, with afternoon back at the resort for spa, lunch, or town activities. Sunset tours pair particularly well with après-ski plans — we have you back to Breckenridge by 7:30 PM, in time for a late dinner reservation.
