Why this tour suits most visitors
The daily tour is structured around groomed trails that climb from approximately 9,500 feet at our staging area to 12,000 feet at the highest viewpoint. Groomed trails are wider and smoother than backcountry routes, making the throttle work intuitive even for riders who have never operated a snowmobile. Guides ride lead and sweep positions, with the group spread out in single file at a pace calibrated to the slowest rider. Stops every 20-30 minutes let everyone catch their breath, take photos, and ask questions.
Trail variations during the season
Early season (December) tours typically run a shorter loop because the upper trails sometimes lack sufficient base coverage. By mid-January through March the full network is open, including the alpine viewpoint and several side spurs that loop through aspen groves. Late-season conditions (April) bring softer, slushier snow in afternoon sun — we shift to morning departures to keep ride quality high. Your guide will brief you on which routes are running on the day of your tour.
